Sticky notes that peek in from the edge of your screen

Ppijuk is a free sticky notes app that took its idea from the paper Post-it stuck on a monitor. Sheets dock to the right edge of your screen, each one holds a checklist and a free-form notepad, and any sheet can be shared with a single link.

What Ppijuk does

Docked to the screen edge

Sheets stack down the right edge from the top. They never overlap, and dragging one only changes its place in the stack.

Checklist and free-form notepad

One sheet switches between a to-do checklist and a free notepad with bold, highlight and colour.

Share a note with one link

Turn a whole sheet into a link and send it over any messenger or email. The reader opens it in a browser with nothing to install.

Collapses to a vertical tab

A folded sheet shows only its name and how many tasks are left. Move the mouse near it and it opens.

It started as a computer Post-it

The idea came from the paper note on your monitor and from Windows Sticky Notes. The difference is that these never scatter.

PC, phone and browser

The Windows program, the Android app on Google Play and the browser version all show the same notes. Sign in once.

Seven colours, many sheets

Name and colour each sheet. Keep one for work, one for home and one for the thing you keep forgetting.

Deleted notes come back

Deleting is instant, with no confirmation dialog. Right-click and open Deleted items to restore anything within 30 days.

Lives in the system tray

Start it with Windows, show or hide every sheet from the tray icon, and add a new sheet from the same menu.

SYNC

Sign in once, the same notes everywhere

Without an account nothing leaves your computer. Sign in with Google and your sheets appear in the same order on every device you open Ppijuk on, and edits show up on the other devices as you type.

Once, with a Google account.

Scope

Every browser and device you sign in on.

Sync

As you type, not on a schedule.

How it works

1. Install

A tray icon appears and one folded sheet docks to the right edge of the screen.

2. Open the tab

Type a task and press Enter. Tick it off when it is done. Esc folds the sheet back.

3. Name and colour

Right-click for the name, the colour and Delete note. Delete is immediate.

4. Add more sheets

New note from the tray menu, or the plus inside a sheet. It docks below, folded.

If you were looking for…

These are the things people were searching for when they found Ppijuk. One app covers all of them.

Sticky notes for Windows 10 and Windows 11

Ppijuk runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Install it and the first sheet is already on your screen, with no account and nothing to pay.

Desktop sticky notes that do not scatter

Unlike the built-in Windows Sticky Notes, desktop notes here never float over your icons. They line up down the right edge and fold away to a thin strip.

A free note taking app with a checklist

One sheet is a to-do checklist and a notepad at the same time. Tick something off and it drops into Done, with a reminder of how many are left on the folded tab.

Shared notes without an account for the reader

Turn a sheet into a link and send it. Shared notes open in any browser, and the person reading them installs nothing.

Post-it style notes on your monitor

The idea is the paper Post-it stuck to the side of a monitor, in seven colours, moved onto the screen itself.

The same notes on your phone

Sign in with Google and the Android app and the browser version show exactly what your PC shows.

Frequently asked questions

What is Ppijuk?

Ppijuk is a free sticky notes app for Windows, Android and the browser. It took its idea from the paper Post-it note stuck on a monitor and from Windows Sticky Notes. Sheets dock to the right edge of the screen, each sheet holds a checklist and a free-form notepad, and any sheet can be shared with a single link.

Is Ppijuk free?

Yes. Both the installer and the portable build are free, and every feature works without signing in.

Can I share a note with someone else?

Yes. Turn a whole sheet into a link and send it over any messenger or email. The person you send it to opens it in a browser with nothing to install.

How is this different from Windows Sticky Notes?

Windows Sticky Notes scatters free-floating windows across the desktop. Ppijuk stacks sheets down the right edge as vertical tabs and collapses them to a 16-pixel strip when you are not using them. It adds checklists, one-link sharing and sync between PC, phone and browser.

Can I place a note anywhere on the screen?

No. Sheets always stay on the right edge, and dragging only changes their order. That is a deliberate choice so the desktop stays tidy.

Can I recover a deleted note?

Yes. Right-click a note and open Deleted items to restore a sheet or a task within 30 days. Emptying that list is permanent.

Does Ppijuk work on macOS?

The desktop program is Windows only for now. On a Mac you can use the browser version or the Android app.

Does Ppijuk send my notes anywhere?

Only if you sign in. Without signing in nothing leaves your computer. If you sign in with Google, notes sync to your own account so the same sheets appear on every device.
